Wild Cherry Lyrics

Cherry, wild, wild Cherry
Talkin' 'bout Cherry
Wild, wild CherryShe make love like a wildcat
Roll like a wire-chrome wheel
She tastes so good, wild Cherry
Ooh, she makes me feel
Cherry, wild, wild CherryDressed like raggedy Annie
Red-headed baby doll
Spends her time drinkin' wine
Diggin' that rock and roll
Cherry, wild wild CherryShe make love like a wildcat
Roll like a wire-chrome wheel
She tastes so good, wild Cherry
Ooh, she makes me feel
Cherry, wild, wild Cherry, whoaRock onYou've heard about 8-ball Sally
You've heard of knee trembler Jane
Well, I got a girl, crazy little momma
'Bout to drive me insane

Wild Cherry, wild, wild CherryShe make love like a wildcat
Roll like a wire-chrome wheel
She tastes so good, wild Cherry
Yes, she makes me feel
Cherry, wild, wild Cherry, yeahWhoa, that's meShe loves with a natural feelin'
Moves like a lovin' machine
When she gets down
Starts messin' around
Fast lovin' speedy and lean
Cherry, wild, wild CherryI told you, she makes love like a wildcat
Roll like a wire-chrome wheel
She tastes so good, ah, wild Cherry
How she makes me feel
Cherry, wild, wild Cherry, yeah, whoaCherry, wild, wild Cherry
Cherry, wild, wild Cherry
You know she tastes so good
You know she tastes so good
You know she tastes so good
You know she tastes so goodWhen I'm talkin' about Cherry
I'm talkin' about Cherry
I'm talkin' about Cherry
I'm talkin' about CherryI said wild, wild, wild, wild, wild Cherry
I said wild, wild, wild, wild, wild Cherry
Ah, the way she moves, I love the way she gets downCherry
Cherry
Cherry

Guitarist/singer Roscoe Chenier was born November 6, 1941 in the hamlet of Notleyville, just east of Opelousas. Though his family of sharecroppers was poor in material posses-sions, it was musically rich in talent. Related to both zydeco demigod, Clifton Chenier, and bluesman Morris 'Big' Chenier, his father Arthur 'Bud' Chenier was his main inspiration. Bud, a cajun accordionist, accompanied by his first cousin and fiddler John Stevens, the father of Duke Stevens, was widly popular, as he often would entertain at weekend house parties.
