Winter Love Lyrics

Love, deep in the heart of me
Winter love
You warm every part of me
Winter love
You melt all the pride in me
Winter love
Youre deep down inside of me
Winter loveI thought that my life was through
The days were so empty and all I could think of was how much I needed youOh but love, out of the darkest night
Winter love
Come into the candlelight
Winter love
And here in the fire glow
Winter love
No, Ill never let you go
Winter loveI never could dream for long
I needed the warmth of the soft summer wind and the trees just to turn me onOh but love, under a starry sky
Winter love

My temper just ridin high
Winter love
In spite of the rain and snow
Winter love
No, Ill never let you go
Winter love (5x)Love, deep in the heart of me
Winter love
You warm every part of me
Winter love
You melt all the pride in me
Winter love
Youre deep down inside of me
Winter loveI never could dream for long
I needed the warmth of the soft summer wind and the trees just to turn me onOh but love, under a starry sky
Winter love
My temper just ridin high
Winter love
In spite of the rain and snow
Winter love
No, Ill never let you go
My winter loveWinter love (4x)

An interesting minor soul performer, Mason initially focused on songwriting when she entered the music business in her teens. As a performer, though, she had a huge hit in 1965 with her self-penned "Yes, I'm Ready" (number five pop, number two R&B), a fetching soul-pop confection that spotlighted her high, girlish vocals. One of the first examples of the sweet, lush sound that came to be called Philly soul, she had modest success throughout the rest of the decade on the small Arctic label, reaching the pop Top 40 again in 1965 with "Sad, Sad Girl."
