Wolf in the Breast Lyrics

Under my shirt
Have to amass
Sling the tainted words
I'm each arms they fall onIt's my body
Puzzles the trick in me
I lend it out to borrow
It might surviveMy baby's cries
Laughing on my bed
I've pretended I knew the way
Especially whenI'll revenge
All I'll need's that day
It's my body
Puzzles the trick in meI lend it out to borrow
It might survive
My baby's cries
Laughing on my bedI've pretended I knew the way
Especially when
I'll revenge

All I'll need's that dayI'll feel perpetual
I feel perpetual
I feel perpetual
True blue and realI feel
I feel
True blue and real
Laughing on my bedI've pretended I knew the way
Especially when
I'll revenge
All I'll need's that dayI'll feel perpetual
I feel perpetual
I'll feel perpetual
True and real

Cocteau Twins were an innovative and influential Scottish dream pop band. Forming in 1979 in Grangemouth, Scotland, UK (the name taken from an obscure song by fellow Scots Simple Minds), they built a sound based on woozy atmospherics and singer Elizabeth Fraser's unmatchable vocals, most of which featured lyrics of made-up words and words plucked at random from the dictionary. Their first release was "Garlands" in 1982 on 4AD Records, which was received well. Founding member Will Heggie left the group in 1983 and soon joined fellow Grangemouth band Lowlife.
