Wondering Lyrics

If you want me to wait
I will wait for you
If you tell me to stay
I would stay right through
If you don't wanna say
Anything at all
I'm happy wondering, go
Yeah, yeah
Since I was a young man
I never was a front man
I never had a plan and no security then
Ever since I met you
I never could forget you
I only wanna get you right here next to me
'Cause everybody
Ah whoa oh oh
Needs someone that they can trust in
And you're somebody

Ah whoa oh oh
That I found just in time
If you want me to wait
I will wait for you
If you tell me to stay
I would stay right through
If you don't wanna say
Anything at all
I'm happy wondering
Now my life is changing
It's always rearranging
It's always gettin' stranger than I thought it ever could
Ever since I found you
I wanna be around you
I wanna get down to the point that I need you
'Cause everybody
Ah whoa oh oh
Needs someone that they can trust in
And you're somebody
Ah whoa oh oh
That I found just in time
If you want me to wait
I will wait for you
If you tell me to stay
I would stay right through
If you don't wanna say
Anything at all
I'm happy wondering, go
Yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah
Don't tell me the bad news
Don't tell me anything at all
Just tell me that you need me
And stay right here with me
If you want me to wait
I will wait for you
If you tell me to stay
I would stay right through
If you don't wanna say
Anything at all
I'm happy wondering
If you want me to wait
I will wait for you
If you tell me to stay
I would stay right through
If you don't wanna say
Anything at all
I'm happy wondering

Music is emotion.
Every line, every note should be trembling and breathing. Of course it´s about beauty, but first and foremost it should touch each listener in the deepest way possible.

In this spirit "the marble faun" was born. It´s the project of songwriter Christoph Klinger. The music breathes the spirit of contemporary folk-singers, like Bright Eyes and Devendra Banhart, and combines it with the floating artistry of Radiohead and Björk. It´s emotion. The lyrics circle 'round human life, it´s absurdities and mysteries, 'round pain, rage, affection and the bewilderment, that hangs over everything like thick fog.

The ep "Some Songs To Burn Your Ears" is a first introduction to the artistic work of "the marble faun". All songs are written, arranged and performed by Christoph Klinger, except Percussions on "Rain" by Nino Latella. Read more on Last.fm.
