Won't Come Off Lyrics

Tripwire eyes kindle this smile
To more than skin-sized
Sweet as a chance to slip timeI'm good, gone
Down on the hipOne second cut from the arc of a swan-dive
Pulled out tight to the pitch of a taut lineGood, gone
Down on the hipI'm good, gone
Down on the hipI think the shaking styleGlide in this spell or hold up for the story tell
Fixing solution to suspend the farewellI'm good, gone
Finger to the lipI think the shaking styleGood, goneI think the shaking styleUntil the shaking stopsI think the shaking stopped

Jawbox was a post-hardcore band which formed in 1989 in Washington D.C., United States. The band consisted of J Robbins (vocals, guitar), Bill Barbot (guitar), Kim Coletta (bass) and Adam Wade (drums). The band split in 1997. In their eight-year existence, Jawbox released four studio albums of increasingly skillful post-punk, not necessarily carrying the torch of their Washington DC, elders (Minor Threat, Embrace, Rites of Spring), but instead building on the tradition of Chicago's thriving early-'80s scene (Big Black, Naked Raygun, Effigies).
