Words Lyrics

If I whispered words, would you hear them now?
Would you cross the deepest seas?
In the fiercest winds, on the burning trail,
Seal it with your word.
If I whispered words, would you keep a lie?
Would you promise me till time?
So if we grow old and the distance parts,
So seal it with your word.
Oh, I'll scream upon the hill,
So, you can hear me still.
Now, will we ever fade?
I seal it with my word.
If I whispered words, would you hear them now?
Would you cross the deepest seas?
In the fiercest winds, on the burning trail,
Seal it with your word.

"The Thievery of Your Own Things" is the first complete work from Casey Immoor under the moniker Immoor, capping a long two year recording project. The finished product is a culmination of every emotion experienced over two years, a combination that walks a fine line between joy and sadness with each track. The resulting sound is reminiscent of a number of genres and artists, but is most identifiable with the likes of The Postal Service, Junior Boys, Soulwax, Boards of Canada, etc.
