X-ray Lyrics

Heidi's chasin' rabbits, Max is chasin' cars
It's summer, it's summer, I cut through the neighbors' yards
New seat, new pads, knobbies, chromium alloy mags
It's summer, it's summer, it's summer on Riverwood
Lawn mowers everywhere
I used to live there, I used to live there
And now I'm lightin' fires out in the garden
Out in the summer sun and the best is yet to come
I got some X-Ray goggles and an X-Ray gun
I didn't see a thing, but I sure was stunned
When I lost my money to the back of a magazine
X-Ray goggles and an X-Ray gun, I spy everyone
I used to ride my bike, my dog by my side
Good girl
Soap box derby car, cardboard fighter planes
I'm meltin' Boba Fett, I'm paintin' flames all over everythin'
Jumpin' from the pier and river on the skin
And lightnin' bugs and locusts shells

It's summer, summer never ends
Lawn mowers everywhere
I used to live there, I used to live there
And now I'm lightin' fires out in the garden
Out in the summer sun and the best is yet to come
I got some X-Ray goggles and an X-Ray gun
I didn't see a thing, but I sure was stunned
When I lost my money to the back of a magazine
X-Ray goggles and an X-Ray gun, I spy everyone
I used to ride my bike, my dog by my side
Good girl
X-Ray goggles and an X-Ray gun, I spy everyone
X-Ray goggles and an X-Ray gun, I spy everyone
I used to live there, I used to live there
I used to live there, I used to live there
I used to live there, I used to live there
I used to live there, I used to live there
I used to ride my bike, my dog by my side
I used to ride my bike, my new dog by my side
Good boy

aalacho (pronounced "ah-lah-koh") is the electro-rock creation of Nathan Scott, a songwriter/producer working out of Seattle, Washington. Originally hailing from a rural farming community a few hours outside of Detroit, Nathan grew up on a steady diet of Motown and Detroit Rock City metal. "For the longest time, I'd always just assumed that mainstream radio meant seventies R&B and Thin Lizzy," says Scott, "until I moved away and learned otherwise."
