Yer Spring Lyrics

Long we were searching these serpentine streets
for the sign of a spark
fuckin around in the dark
long we were held in the throng and the desperate heat of the club
drinkin deep from that cup
drink it up
drink it up
drink it upEach step was ???
the beat in the blood and the heat in our hands
Twelve regular men
When we ??? cathedrals to the hollow and beat ???
I'm going back up again
I'm going up
I'm going up
I'm going up
I'm going upWell everything is blooming
You know the will can always wait
to steal away your body

to steal away your brain
Oh man, I hate this part
when the car sails off the bridge
the ?? of knuckles white inside
the might of water rushing in
Am I rising up?
Am I rising up?
Am I rising up?
Am I rising up?Singing--
Hurry night
hurry night
Take my might
take my might
Lay me down
Oh oh oh
Sweet winter carry to receive?????? (entire line I can't make out)
I feel the light and I'm ready to be out in it
??????? (another mystery line)
I hear the chorus and I see the people singing?????? (entire line I can't make out)
I feel the light and I'm ready to be out in it
??????? (another mystery line)
I hear the chorus and I see the people singingI scatter my (???)

Hey Rosetta! hails from the rocky and cold northeastern province of Newfoundland, Canada. In 2005, frontman Tim Baker arrived home from a road trip with a suitcase full of poems and melodies. Hey Rosetta! was formed soon after with the addition of a string section (cellist Romesh Thavanathan and violinist Kinley Dowling) and rhythm section (bassist Josh Ward, drummer Phil Maloney, and guitarist Adam Hogan). Since then, they've blossomed into a powerful group whose explosive live shows have earned them a devoted following.
