You Know Just What I'd Do Lyrics

If we lost all we had
Would I walk your rocky road
Take a different path?Would I sell my pride for you
If you asked me to walk the streets?
You know just what I'd doWould your child have a home
If it should be born
Of love other than our own?Would I still stand by you
Knowin' you've loved someone else?
You know just what I'd doIf my love for you meant giving up my life
Would I lay it down for you?
And if you were blind would I give you my sight?
You know just what I'd do if you ask me toWould I live with the scar
That you carry in your heart
From another woman's war?Would I mend your wounds for you
If I knew you needed me?
You know just what I'd do

Conway Twitty (1 September 1933 – 5 June 1993), born Harold Lloyd Jenkins, was one of the United States' most successful artists of the 20th century. Twitty had the most singles (55) reach Number 1 on various national music charts. Conway Twitty's across the board totals were greater than that of Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, the Beatles, and Garth Brooks. Most notably known as a country music singer, Twitty also enjoyed success in early Rock and Roll, R&B, and Pop music (among other genres). He teamed up with Loretta Lynn to form one of country music's most successful business partnerships.
