SĽUK - The Slovak folk artistic group – professional artistic ensemble acting in the area of artistic compiling and interpretation of folklore in Slovakia SĽUK was founded in 1949. Siginficant Slovak artists have participated on program creation since its early years. Artistic director Pavol Tonkovič, musical composer Alexander Moyzes, choreographer Štefan Tóth, conductor Milan Novák, chorus director Vojtech Adamec and national costumes designer Irena Tonkovičová created the very first program.
