Zoo Lyrics

I can no longer watch TV
Cause that shit really melts my brain
I think Im what they call sensitive
And easily thrown off my gameAll that bloodshed and pettiness
Just makes the world seem so insane
And I just feel drainedWhen I go to do my food shopping
And all I can see is the packaging
One big mountain of garbage
About to be happeningAnd I walk past my own self-loathing
Like I walk past animals in the zoo
Trying not to really see them
And the prison they didnt chooseIf I should ever quit your spotlight
I hope you wont think me wrong
Says the poet to the moonlight
Says the singer to the songIts enough just to stay upright
Upright in every single way
Pour your love into your children
Until theres nothing left to sayPour your love into your children

Until theres nothing left to say

Dog Is Dead is a five piece indie pop band from Nottingham, England. Three members of the band (frontman Rob Milton, Joss Harrison-Willder and Lawrence Cole) met at West Bridgford School. After picking up drummer Lawrence Libor at a party and Rob White at a rehearsal for The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe, they started performing live in 2008. Their debut single, "Glockenspiel Song," was released on June 7, 2010 and the band appeared in the closing scene of the fifth series of British television teen drama Skins, playing the song in a marquee, with the cast singing along.
