cease fire Lyrics

Yeah yeah yeah
Yeah yeah yeah
Yeah yeah yeahIn glory a soldier I stand till the end
A golden revolver I hold in my hand
The trigger that I never squeezed
The war that brings me to my knees
I'm tired of fighting for peace
When I am alone on the front line
I need you to stand next to meBaby cease fire fire fire
Throw down your weapons your weapons your weapons
I'm on your side on your side on your side
So please cease fire fire fire
Cease fire make it stopDrop down your defenses
I'm raising my flag
This fighting is hopeless we need this to end
It's going too far don't know where it began
We're hurting each other and I can't pretend
I'm trying to help you to see

The casualties that we both lead
It's all so unnecessary
Can't you hear me screamBaby cease fire fire fire
Throw down your weapons your weapons your weapons
I'm on your side on your side on your side
So please ceasefire fire fire
Cease fire make it stopUh uh uh ooh
Uh uh uh ooh
Uh uh ooh
Uh uh ooohRolling out
White flag
I surrender
hear me now
Make it stop
We can do better
Pain and hurt
Living in fear
Wasted energy
In the end
What is it worth
What is our legacyRolling out
White flag
I surrender
hear me now
Make it stop
We can do better
Pain and hurt
Living in fear
Wasted energy
In the end
What is it worth
What is a legacyFollow me now
I'm gonna announce
Somebody help me
I need you now
Why cant you see
Got to believe me
Fighting for peace
need a release
Want you to move me
I'm on your side
Swallow your pride
You can confide in me
Army of one
Rise of the sun
Shining for all to see
Enemy's none
Victory's won
No negativity
We can be free
we are the king
Who owns our destinyBaby cease fire fire fire
Throw down your weapons your weapons your weapons
I'm on your side on your side on your side
So please cease fire fire fire
Cease fire make it stop

Chuck Fender was born Leshorn Whitehead on June 15, 1972 in Brooklyn, New York. He always had a special love for music, making a hobby of impersonating some of his favourite entertainers as a youngster. It didn't take him long to decide to pursue his dream in the music business. Frequently travelling between Jamaica and New York to hone his deejaying skills, he spent most of his time at King Jammy's studio, where he released his debut single 'Shut Yuh Mouth When Bad Man Talking' on the Tight Clothes riddim for John John (King Jammys' son). He followed that up with 'The Glue'.
