Shakey is two projects: Shakey is one of many aliases of James Boyd, a Washington DC based producer of a wide array of musical styles. Everything from the harshness of Drum and Bass, Breakcore, IDM, and Industrial to the slower, more hypnotic melodies of Classical and Downtempo. He began producing as a junior in high school, when a close friend of his had an old Korg synthesizer. He loved the way that he could mold the sound to be almost anything he wanted. He didn't get serious about production and start releasing music until he was 21.
