Kim Jonghyun (born April 8, 1990), known mononymously as Jonghyun, is a South Korean singer, dancer, and aspiring singer-songwriter. He is most famous for being the lead singer of the quintet contemporary group, SHINee, under the label of SM 엔터테인먼트 in South Korea and EMI Music in Japan. He is also a member of the project group, S.M. THE BALLAD, also under SM. He's considered a talented vocalist in the K-Pop industry and has gotten praise from notable vocal trainers and legendary vocalists in South Korea.
