Ája - Ole Edvard Antonsen

Ole Edvard Antonsen is a Norwegian trumpeter, regarded as one of the most outstanding trumpet soloists world-wide. Starting out as a trumpeter in the Oslo Philharmonic, he left the orchestra to start a solo career in 1989, after having won the First Prizes of the CIEM-competition in Geneva in 1987 and the UNESCO competition in Bratislava in 1989. CDs he has made or particpated in making include "The Virtuoso Trumpet" (1989), "Tour de Force" (1992/92), "Trumpet Concertos" (1993)"Popular Pieces for Trumpet & Organ"
