love to you Lyrics

You were made for me, I was made for you,
Just one touch we stuck like glue.
Do do do do do do la love,
You where there for me, I was there for you,
Got stuck in a hole, and we dug are selves through.
We always do, we always do no no,
Are kind of love don't break or bend,
I hold you till the whole world ends, oh it ends.
Cause' you and I could be the best of friends, oh ohh
Yeah, you and I could be the best of friends,
Cause' no matter what I do my heart beats for two.
I always give my L-O-V-E-T-O-Y-O-U
Our hearts drum like pots and pans,
I'm lookin' up to your marching band.
When you hold my hand,
You hold my hand la love.
We stick together like cellophane,

Give me a straight jacket,
I'll love you insane.
oh I will, you know I will.
Cause' you and I could be the best of friends, oh ohh
Yeah, you and I could be the best of friends,
Cause' no matter what I do my heart beats for two.
I always give my L-O-V-E-T-O-Y-O-U
My L-O-V-E-T-O-Y-O-U
And when the world comes crashing down, (crashing down)
We'll dance at the speed of sound.
Oh, girl, there ain't nothing I won't do for you, oh
I hope you know.
That you and I could be the best of friend, oh (the best of friends)
Yeah, you and I could be the best of friends,
No matter what I do, my heart beats for two.
I always give my L-O-V-E-T-O-Y-O-U
My L-O-V-E-T-O-Y-O-U
My L-O-V-E-T-O-Y-O-U

The Trypes were a side project for members of The Feelies. Glenn Mercer and Bill Million joined the Trypes' founder John Baumgartner in 1982, since they left the Feelies aside for a period of time. In this band they also met the future Feelies members Brenda Sauter and Stan Demeski. The Trypes recorded a beautiful soft psychedelic EP in 1984: here woodwinds and keyboards are prominent compared to the Feelies' usual guitar-dominated sound. Included is a cover of The Beatles' "Love You To." The group evolved later into Speed the Plough.
