troubadour Lyrics

I still feel 25 most of the time
I still raise a little Cain with the boys
Honky tonks and pretty women
Lord, I'm still right there with 'em
Singing above the crowd and the noiseSometimes I feel like Jesse James
Still trying to make a name
Knowing nothing's gonna change what I am
I was a young troubadour, when I rode in on a song
I'll be an old troubadour, when I'm goneWell, the truth about a mirror
Is that a damned old mirror
Don't really tell the whole truth
It don't show what's deep inside
Or read between the lines
And it's really no reflection of my youthSometimes I feel like Jesse James
Still trying to make a name
Knowing nothing's gonna change what I am
I was a young troubadour, when I rode in on a song
I'll be an old troubadour, when I'm goneI was a young troubadour, when I rode in on a song

And I'll be an old troubadour, when I'm gone
I'll be an old troubadour, when I'm gone

starting in the late 80's with an Amiga500 and trying to cope with sampling techniques, beitegeuze aka Thomas Berberich (born in 1977) was driven by his musical curiosity in exploring new sounds - accompanied by his heroes of electronic music, who all used hardware synthesizers. At the same time, techno was the new hype, and so beitegeuze produced bass'n'beat-driven tracks. After a while of experiencing with melodies, harmonies and musical atmospheres (and still without an academic knowledge of music), he stepped into ambient music (where he could technically apply all the things he felt).
