Originally from New York, she came to Madison and quickly hooked into the Madison music scene singing with Clyde Stubblefield on Funky Mondays at the King Club and later bringing her energy to the original funk and R&B band Vibe Syndicate. I have always been surrounded by music - whether it was the 10 years of classical piano I thought I'd never get through, discovering the blues at a dive bar in DC, or enjoying one of many Allman Brothers shows at the Beacon - music has been an ever present source of joy and release in my life.
