Again & Again Lyrics

Sprawled out on the sheets; cold and lonely and wide awake.
And you're back at your place, just one tube ride away that I can't take.We left it on a bad note and it's a damn shame to be the worst cliché.
But I'll just tell you it's fine, it's no fault of mine and hearts break all the time. But you told me not to say if I felt stronger than you ever could about what we are.
So I'll just bite my tongue 'cause this ain't happening again and again...(Oh baby when you go)
Don't think 'cause you're gone that I'll fall apart.
'Cause my heart can take it, take it.
(Oh baby when you go)
I don't care where you could end up tonight.
'Cause my heart can take it, take it.
You're lying to yourself 'cause reality is hell and you're no saint.
You hate that I have healed; my scars are all concealed and you still pray that I will call.
Your binges never end. You're passed out on your bed; still holding onto my old clothes.
But I erased all your traces, your face and your taste and the smell of smoke. But I'm no fool and I know how these things work.
You're bitter and you will be for quite a while.
I've learnt from my mistakes and I swear this ain't happening again...
(Oh baby when you go)
Don't think 'cause you're gone that I'll fall apart.
'Cause my heart can take it, take it.

(Oh baby when you go)
I don't care where you could end up tonight.
'Cause my heart can take it, take it.

Hailing from the South East of London; Arthur Walwin has been building a name for himself with his soulful, heartfelt ballads. Taking on the role of artist and producer on all of his releases and often incorporating many of his influences into his music. Arthur’s songs are reminiscent of early Mayday Parade and some of the slower songs by artists like You Me At Six and Paramore. The EP is a departure from his band (Paige), however there are still shades of piano-lead American Pop Punk/Rock in his songs. Read more on Last.fm.
