Someone Who Knows Lyrics

It hurts to know that I can't seem to win your, can't seem to win your heart.
You seem more into the things he has; like the tattoo'd hands and the cigarettes. And I've tried, to be that guy; but I can't pretend to be someone that I am not for you. Won't you just realise that he's hurting you so bad?If only you could just see yourself waiting by the phone for a call that won't come.
Just take it from someone who knows, the call won't come.I believe you girl, he could be the one but I'm too smart for this; too bitter for this.
I've been jaded by the girls of the past, 'cause their hearts aren't real.Ask me why does it hurt so bad (When I know you would do the same to me)
Tell me why does it hurt so bad to see you waiting by the phone for a call that won't come?
Just take it from someone who knows, the call won't come. And now you're waiting by the road for a car that won't come.
Just take it from someone who knows.
The car won't come.Do you remember all those nights that you stayed up? Because the boy you loved thought you were never good enough.
Well that's a risk you're gonna have to take if you want to. If you want true love. And now you're waiting by the door for a boy that won't come.
Take it from someone who knows.
The boy won't come.

Hailing from the South East of London; Arthur Walwin has been building a name for himself with his soulful, heartfelt ballads. Taking on the role of artist and producer on all of his releases and often incorporating many of his influences into his music. Arthur’s songs are reminiscent of early Mayday Parade and some of the slower songs by artists like You Me At Six and Paramore. The EP is a departure from his band (Paige), however there are still shades of piano-lead American Pop Punk/Rock in his songs. Read more on Last.fm.
