Are You Qualified? Lyrics

Do you consider yourself intelligent?
Are you ready to go all the way?
Are you married?
How do you rank yourself?
Are you punctual?
When do you think you will have kids?
Have you ever had a nervous breakdown?
Do you find yourself mentally stable?
How do you deal with pressure?
Do you find yourself qualified for life?
You know you’ll be you and I’ll be me
Thank God for individuality
Do you consider yourself ready for life?
You know you’ll be you and I’ll be me
Thank God for individuality
Don’t lie, don’t kill, don’t smoke, don’t run
Don’t yell, don’t panic, don’t steal, don’t cry
Don’t die, don’t act, don’t drink, don’t stumble

Don’t hate, don’t bitch, don’t cheat, don’t fake
Remember to separate all your kitchen garbage
And turn the water off when you brush your teeth
Only buy organic food
Get a gay friend preferably with a different color than your own
You be you, I’ll be me
It's individuality
It's in your way, are you qualified?
You be you, I’ll be me
It's individuality
Are you qualified for life?
You have a choice of believing in
JV, Allah, Buddha, Goya
Uranus, Zeus, Cronus, Mattes
Apollo, Aries, Athena, Althea
Fall, Odem, just to name a few
Get married, get hitched, get loved, get gold
Get cleaver, get big, get lucky, get rich
Get humble, get good, get free, get real
Get food, get water, get sleep, get sex
Are you qualified?
You be you, I’ll be me
It's individuality
Are you qualified?
You be you, I’ll be me
It's individuality
Are you qualified for life, yeah?
Are you qualified for life?
Are you qualified for life?
Are you qualified for life?
Are you qualified for life?
Are you qualified for life?
Are you qualified for life?
Are you qualified for life?
Qualified for life
Have you ever had a nervous breakdown?
Are you married?
How do you deal with pressure?
Do you find yourself qualified for life?

Lazyboy are two bands/artists:

1) The first is a musical project started by Aqua member Søren Nystrøm Rasted, also known as Lazy B in the UK. It uses spoken word trivia, self-help advice, voices of people on the street and criticism of modern society set to hip hop-esque beats in a style dubbed "Rhythm'n'Speak" by the creators.

The album Lazyboy TV debuted in 2004 and receieved some initial airplay with the video for "Facts of Life". The single release of "Underwear Goes Inside the Pants" made a name for Lazyboy, charting at #5 in Australia and topping the iTunes download chart. However both the second single "Inhale Positivity" and the Lazyboy TV album missed the charts internationally.

In 2006 it was announced the project would change it's name to Lazy B for the impending UK release in July, following an agreement with furniture manufacturer La-Z-Boy "to end any confusion between music and chairs". According to the official site, Lazy B has been commissioned to produce a piece for the Danish Royal Ballet to commence in Copenhagen in March of 2007.

2) The second Lazyboy is a UK group formed by Rob Da Bank and Dan Carey. They also released their album in 2004, titled Penguin Rock (released on Sunday Best recordings), which could be described as 'lounge'. The song police dogs bonfire has been used in a car commercial and this is what most people will know the tune from on hearing it.

Rob Da Bank now hosts two radioshows on BBC1 radio: The Blue Room and OneMusic.
