This Is The Truth Lyrics

One life, one shard, one move, one god
This is the truth, yeah
Word up for the lazy boy, word up for the lazy boy
Is this the truth
You don't win silver, you lose gold
Stop earning the right to be, you won the day you were born
If you don't know what direction you should take
You don't know where you are
Success is a matter of luck, ask any failure
Never let a fool kiss you, or a kiss fool you
We are born naked, wet, and hungry, then things get worse
Your success is measured by your ability to finish things
Skepticism is the beggining of faith
Forgive your enemies but never forget their names
There is no such thing as right or wrong, only consequences
One life, one shard, one move, one god
This is the truth, yeah
Word up for the lazy boy, word up for the lazy boy

Is this the truth, yeah
All men are born equal but quite a few of them eventually get over it
We are the people our parents warned us about
Somtimes I think the surest sign of intelligent life exists
Elsewhere in the universe, is that none of them have tried to contact us
Be nice to nerds, chances are you'll end up working for one
Do not get mad with others because
They know more than you, it is not their fault
If you do not change your beliefs, your life will always be like this
Fantasy is as important as wisdom
Do not try to satisfy everyone
The biggest lie you can tell yourself is
"When I get what I want I will be happy"
One life, one shard, one move, one god
This is the truth, yeah
Word up for the lazy boy, word up for the lazy boy
Is this the truth, yeah
Don't take life too seriously you won't get out alive
It may be that your sole purpose in life is
Simply to serve as a warning to others
Life is shorter than expected
What you are willing to accept
Is exactly what you will get
You can't control, without being controlled
Creativity is great but plagiarism is faster
You are the very reason for everything that happens to you
Someone said to Voltaire, "Life is hard"
Voltaire replied, "Compared to what?"
One life, one shard, one move, one god
This the truth, yeah
Word up for the lazy boy, word up for the lazy boy
Is this the truth, yeah
One life, one god
Word up for the lazy boy, yeah
This is the truth

Lazyboy are two bands/artists:

1) The first is a musical project started by Aqua member Søren Nystrøm Rasted, also known as Lazy B in the UK. It uses spoken word trivia, self-help advice, voices of people on the street and criticism of modern society set to hip hop-esque beats in a style dubbed "Rhythm'n'Speak" by the creators.

The album Lazyboy TV debuted in 2004 and receieved some initial airplay with the video for "Facts of Life". The single release of "Underwear Goes Inside the Pants" made a name for Lazyboy, charting at #5 in Australia and topping the iTunes download chart. However both the second single "Inhale Positivity" and the Lazyboy TV album missed the charts internationally.

In 2006 it was announced the project would change it's name to Lazy B for the impending UK release in July, following an agreement with furniture manufacturer La-Z-Boy "to end any confusion between music and chairs". According to the official site, Lazy B has been commissioned to produce a piece for the Danish Royal Ballet to commence in Copenhagen in March of 2007.

2) The second Lazyboy is a UK group formed by Rob Da Bank and Dan Carey. They also released their album in 2004, titled Penguin Rock (released on Sunday Best recordings), which could be described as 'lounge'. The song police dogs bonfire has been used in a car commercial and this is what most people will know the tune from on hearing it.

Rob Da Bank now hosts two radioshows on BBC1 radio: The Blue Room and OneMusic.
