Barbara Ann Lyrics

Ba ba ba ba Barbara Ann
Ba ba ba ba Barbara Ann
Ba ba ba ba Barbara Ann (take my hand)
Ba ba ba ba Barbara Ann
Ba ba ba ba Barbara Ann
You've got me rockin' and a-rollin'
Rockin' and a-reelin'
Barbara Ann
Ba ba ba ba Barbara AnnWent to a dance
Looking for romance
Saw Barbara Ann
So I thought I'd take a chance
Barbara Ann, take my hand
You've got me rockin' and a-rollin'
Rockin' and a reelin'
Barbara Ann
Ba ba ba ba Barbara AnnBa ba ba ba Barbara Ann
Ba ba ba ba Barbara Ann

Ba ba ba ba Barbara Ann (take my hand)
Ba ba ba ba Barbara Ann
Ba ba ba ba Barbara Ann
You've got me rockin' and a-rollin'
Rockin' and a reelin'
Barbara Ann
Ba ba ba ba Barbara AnnTried Betty Sue
Tried Betty Lou
Tried Mary Sue
But I knew it wouldn't do
Ba ba ba ba Barbara Ann
Ba ba ba ba Barbara Ann
You've got me rockin' and a-rollin'
Rockin' and a reelin'
Barbara Ann
Ba ba ba ba Barbara AnnBa ba ba ba Barbara Ann
Ba ba ba ba Barbara Ann
Ba ba ba ba Barbara Ann (take my hand)
Ba ba ba ba Barbara Ann
Ba ba ba ba Barbara Ann
You've got me rockin' and a-rollin'
Rockin' and a reelin'
Barbara Ann
Ba ba ba ba Barbara AnnBarbara Ann, Barbara Ann
Barbara Ann, Barbara Ann

Harold's earliest influences were that of Chet Atkins and Johnny Horton in the early 1960s, which led him to start playing his father's Silvertone acoustic. Harold played in many genres in the years that followed, being influenced by the Beatles, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, and many of the super groups of the sixties. Once introduced to the music of Doc Watson, Harolds genre was chosen. He fell in love with the pure acoustic sounds, the stories of real life, and the flawless picking.
