Beautiful Dreamer Lyrics

You're spending too long
The people were wrong
They don't even know we're moving onI just want to feel the taste of the meal
And not the routine of dining hereWe'll be so sorry
If we got to the shadow of death
Having missed all the sun on your face
It's thrilling for you nowWe do it all the time, do all the time
We're the dreamer in the beautiful mess
And we do it all the time, do all the timeI just want to feel the taste of the meal
And not the routine of dining here
Let's lay here awhile
All the sounds will compile
Forgetting to sleep, we'll ponder thisWe'll be so sorry
If we got to the shadow of death
Having missed all the sun on your face
It's thrilling for you nowWe do it all the time, do all the time
We're the dreamer in the beautiful mess
And we do it all the time, do all the timeHere's an alibi

We love the voices don't know why
There was a time we lived in truth
Let's bring it backWe do it all the time, do all the time
We're the dreamer in the beautiful mess
And we do it all the time, do all the timeWe'll be so sorry
If we got to the shadow of death
Having missed all the sun on your face
It's thrilling for you nowHere's an alibi
We love the voices don't know why
There was a time we lived in truth
Let's bring it back

Harold's earliest influences were that of Chet Atkins and Johnny Horton in the early 1960s, which led him to start playing his father's Silvertone acoustic. Harold played in many genres in the years that followed, being influenced by the Beatles, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, and many of the super groups of the sixties. Once introduced to the music of Doc Watson, Harolds genre was chosen. He fell in love with the pure acoustic sounds, the stories of real life, and the flawless picking.
