Better Get Your Pride Back Boy Lyrics

I'm just a truck driver and I don't think I know it all
But son you got thoughts in your mind that I don't understand at all
They're needin' you boy and you're sittin' around in your coffee house
Now whatcha gonna do when your woman begs you save her from a mouse
You'd better get your pride back boy better get your pride back boy
That's the most important thing that the Lord ever gave you
[ guitar ]
You're a good looking boy and I know them bullets could harm you
You're bound to be scared but there's things that a man's just got to do
If you don't get yourself some backbone one of these days
Some bullys gonna take your woman and kick sand in your face
You'd better get your pride back...
You'd better get your pride back...

Among his biggest hits was the Patsy Cline classic “I Fall to Pieces.” A member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Country Music Hall of Fame, he was a force in country music until his death.
