Has Anybody Seen Me Lately Lyrics

Advisory - the following lyrics contain explicit language:
Has anybody seen me lately forgive me if I passed you by
But ever since you stole my baby all I seem to do is cry
I've wrapped my little world around me don't even know this life long friends
Has anybody seen me lately well I wish they tell me where I've been
Was I looking sad was I looking bad as I feel Lord I hope not
Were my eyes full of dreams that fell apart it seems well that's all all what I've got
Now if anybody seen me lately pretended I was someone else
My mind just ain't been working lately Lord I wouldn't even know myself
[ steel ]
Was I looking sad...

There, he became an immediate success, his songs recorded by innumerable country artists. Among his biggest hits was the Patsy Cline classic “I Fall to Pieces.” A member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Country Music Hall of Fame, he was a force in country music until his death.
