Better place Lyrics

Hold on, we try to live a dream
We lose the fight again
I take the promise I believe
And keep it close 'til the end
Collide, I'll start a war inside
Now stop, drop and cover me
My sense of peace is burning
Shutting down, I'm falling down
I can't believe it's happening to me
Can I give it all away
Just to get back to that better place
That better place today?
And I give everything away
'Til I get back to that better place
That better place today
Holding on, I suffer like a fiend
And try and face the day
I gotta say I'm a little relieved

To see you stay 'til the end
I try, I took the war inside
Then I, and pushed it out of me
My sense of peace is burning
Open now, I'm not falling out
I can't believe it's happening to me
Can I give it all away
Just to get back to that better place
That better place today?
And I give everything away
'Til I get back to that better place
That better place today
Now stop, I try
Can I give it all away
Just to get back to that better place
That better place today?
And I give everything away
'Til I get back to that better place
That better place today
And now it all remains the same
'Til I get back to that better place
That better place today

Army of Anyone was a post-grunge hard rock supergroup formed in 2005 by Filter frontman Richard Patrick with two of the former members of rock band Stone Temple Pilots. The band formed in Los Angeles. In addition to Patrick on vocals, the band featured Dean DeLeo and Robert DeLeo on guitars and bass, respectively, and Ray Luzier (formerly of David Lee Roth's band) on drums. This was the first band the DeLeo brothers formed without Scott Weiland since the short-lived Talk Show project in 1997 and was their first major project since STP's breakup in 2003.
