Father Figure Lyrics

Cold is your heart
When you're heart has been broken
Love is what's lost
When the loss leads the loathingPain's what you've got
When you've got, got going
There is your food
And your food's got you chokingTouch a good game
'Cause the rules are the same
I can't deny that we'll miss him
Now that you've killed
It's a much bigger pill
'Cause a larger words are missingSay what you will
Where's your father figure?
Say what you will
Where's your father figure now?Spun is your head
And your head is unfolding
Crushed is your soul
And your soul is unloadingTorn are your thoughts

And your thoughts make life hopeful
Gone is the cost
And the cost is unhopefulTouch a good game
'Cause the rules are the same
I can't deny that we'll miss him
Now that you've killed
It's a much bigger pill
'Cause a larger words are missingSay what you will
Where's your father figure?
Say what you will
Where's your father figure now?Say what you will
Where's your father figure?
Yeah, say what you will
Where's your father figure?Say what you will
Where's your father figure?
Yeah, say what you will
Where's your father figure?

Army of Anyone was a post-grunge hard rock supergroup formed in 2005 by Filter frontman Richard Patrick with two of the former members of rock band Stone Temple Pilots. The band formed in Los Angeles. In addition to Patrick on vocals, the band featured Dean DeLeo and Robert DeLeo on guitars and bass, respectively, and Ray Luzier (formerly of David Lee Roth's band) on drums. This was the first band the DeLeo brothers formed without Scott Weiland since the short-lived Talk Show project in 1997 and was their first major project since STP's breakup in 2003.
