Burn It Down Lyrics

Dents in the carpet where the couch used to be
And dust frames remain where the pictures used to hang
I guess she got all the things she needs
She took everything but meShe doesnt love me anymore
I guess its time to close the door
This empty house on Lost Hope Lane
Dont bring me nothin but pain
It dont bring me nothin but painIm gonna burn it down all the way to the ground
Gasoline or kerosene and just one match is all I need
Im gonna let it go all the way up in smoke
Let the wind scatter them ashes all over this town
Im gonna burn it downThese four walls were built on love
Now nothin remains of us
Forever used to live in this place
But now Ill watch it go up in flames
Gonna watch it go up in flamesIm gonna burn it down all the way to the ground
Gasoline or kerosene and just one match is all I need
Im gonna let it go all the way up in smoke

Let the wind scatter them ashes all over this town
Burn it down, burn it downIm gonna burn it down all the way to the ground
Gasoline or kerosene and just one match is all I need
Let it go all the way up in smoke
Let the wind scatter them ashes all over this town
Im gonna burn it down, down, downShe got all the things she needs
She took everything but me

Halfway to Hazard is the country duo, made up of Chad Warrix and David Tolliver, from Hazard, Kentucky. Though Warrix and Tolliver were from different towns in southeastern Kentucky, their band's origins are in Hazard. The name of their band comes from their hometowns, Hazard being the halfway point between their homes.

The H2H boys also host a benefit near their hometowns for a local charity, the Buckhorn Children's Center. The benefit, which is held in Crockettsville, Kentucky, is called the Halfway to Hazard Annual Charity Trail Ride. The Trail Ride actually consists of a concert on Saturday and a dirt bike/ATV ride through a trail system on Sunday. At the Second Annual Trail Ride, in 2009, Tim McGraw, Lee Brice, Dierks Bentley, Keith Anderson, and, of course, Halfway to Hazard were some of the performers for the concert on Saturday. Over $200,000 was raised by the more than 25,000 that attended.

As of 1/19/2010, it was announced David would be taking some personal time off from the duo and all performances/appearances were indefinitely postponed. It is not known what the future of H2H will be, though Chad assured fans on his Facebook page that he and David will reevaluate things in a few months and see where they stand. Read more on Last.fm.
