Burning Down Inside Lyrics

Play the game of indecision
Come what may, she knows it isn't just
His voice on the line
One final time she hears thunderPrecious lies when she played her part
Still she tries, because hope dies hard
With broken wings, she can feel the sting
Like a backhand over the telephoneIn her eyes, shimmers twilight
Drivin' hard, it gives up the fight
And she fights it back, knowing that
The dam could break wide openBurning down inside
Nobody wants to be lonely
Burning down inside
The harder they come
The harder she fallsTo her face, I show my arm
I walk away, before I do more harm
And with the damage done
She won't know where to run
Or who to run toTurnin' like a spinning wheel

Dancin' on her head
Tries so hard to walk away
She falls in love insteadMy head says
We should always go our own ways
Never get too close
When she can hear my heart
If she comes apart, I'll be waitingBurning down inside
The harder she falls
Burning down inside
Burning down inside
The harder they come
The harder she fallsBurning down inside
Burning down inside
Burning down inside
The harder they come
The harder she fallsBurning down inside
The harder they come
The harder she falls

Tyketto were an American heavy rock band of the 1990s who never achieved the success they felt they deserved. The group was put together in 1987 by former Waysted vocalist Danny Vaughn. Brooke St James (Guitar), Jimi Kennedy (Bass) and Micheal Clayton (Drums) completed the lineup. By 1990 the band had signed to Geffen Records, and released their debut album "Don't Come Easy". Musically, it was somewhere between Whitesnake and Bon Jovi, with Tyketto opening for the former on many bills. However, the rise of the 'grunge' sound in 1991 saw Tyketto's hopes of the big breakthrough begin to recede.
