Ready to make your heart swoon and your radio blare, comes rock music's new darlings, Faulter.

Faulter's catchy blend of rock and pop infused melodies began to form in 2003 when two brothers and three friends, Andy Carpenter, Jonathan Carpenter, Mike Levindofske, Jarred Dooley, and Richard Boutwell, attending various high schools in Anaheim, CA started playing songs together. Quickly, vocalist and songwriter Andy Carpenter's musical gifting and knack for capturing emotion within a song became apparent, and Faulter's sound began to take shape.

Producer Jon St. James (The Vandals, Social Distortion) being a friend of Andy and Jonathan's father, heard Faulter's demo and took an immediate interest, beginning to work with the band and develop them to the next level. Drawing influence from everything from The Beatles to Jimmy Eat World to Taking Back Sunday, Faulter has a genuine sound that breathes experience far beyond their years stimulating a smile on your face and hope in your heart.

Produced, mixed, and mastered by Andy Carpenter and Jon St. James, and with the help of drummer extraordinaire, Josh Freese (A Perfect Circle, NIN, Sting), keyboard player Jason Freese (Green Day, Goo Goo Dolls), and engineer Greg Koller (Smash Mouth, Jon Brion) the band recorded their debut album Darling Buds of May, Faulter released the album on their own and began playing for their quickly growing fan base alongside of bands such as 30 Seconds To Mars, The Ataris, Koufax, The Start, and more. Newly signed to Abacus Recordings, who will be releasing Darling Buds of May nationally on September 19th, these boys from next door are going to dominate the airwaves while their posters fill the wall space in dorm rooms across the country.
