Tumbleweed Lyrics

Just a stray little Gypsy boy,
Trying on the highway for size
A cowboy kid cracking 105
Crossing the New Mexico line
I believe we got a live one here
No inhibitions no fear
Hey you wanna play your hand
Or are you just playing for the girls in the grandstand
Don't you wanna roll them bones
Are you a tumbleweed or a rolling stone
Tag along with my little vagabond
As long as you got something to burn
We'll slide on over to old Antone's
There's a little game I think you should learn
There's a big shot of the owner hanging over the bar
Shaking hands with some rock and roll star
Hey you wanna play your hand

Or are you just playing for the girls in the grandstand
Don't you wanna roll them bones
Are you a tumbleweed or a rolling stone
Well I'm glad I let you find me boy
I been waiting for you
Won't you be my brand new pride and joy
I've been savin' up all my good luck until tonight
On a roll he was on top of the world
Till he laid it all on seven and nine
Lost his shirt and his keys to the highway
Looks like I'll be driving tonight
Ten to one we'll take the long way home
We've got ignition, so let's go
Hey you wanna play your hand
Or are you just playing for the girls in the grandstand
Don't you wanna roll them bones
Are you a tumbleweed or a rolling stone

Ready to make your heart swoon and your radio blare, comes rock music's new darlings, Faulter.

Faulter's catchy blend of rock and pop infused melodies began to form in 2003 when two brothers and three friends, Andy Carpenter, Jonathan Carpenter, Mike Levindofske, Jarred Dooley, and Richard Boutwell, attending various high schools in Anaheim, CA started playing songs together. Quickly, vocalist and songwriter Andy Carpenter's musical gifting and knack for capturing emotion within a song became apparent, and Faulter's sound began to take shape.

Producer Jon St. James (The Vandals, Social Distortion) being a friend of Andy and Jonathan's father, heard Faulter's demo and took an immediate interest, beginning to work with the band and develop them to the next level. Drawing influence from everything from The Beatles to Jimmy Eat World to Taking Back Sunday, Faulter has a genuine sound that breathes experience far beyond their years stimulating a smile on your face and hope in your heart.

Produced, mixed, and mastered by Andy Carpenter and Jon St. James, and with the help of drummer extraordinaire, Josh Freese (A Perfect Circle, NIN, Sting), keyboard player Jason Freese (Green Day, Goo Goo Dolls), and engineer Greg Koller (Smash Mouth, Jon Brion) the band recorded their debut album Darling Buds of May, Faulter released the album on their own and began playing for their quickly growing fan base alongside of bands such as 30 Seconds To Mars, The Ataris, Koufax, The Start, and more. Newly signed to Abacus Recordings, who will be releasing Darling Buds of May nationally on September 19th, these boys from next door are going to dominate the airwaves while their posters fill the wall space in dorm rooms across the country.
