Chemical Reaction Lyrics

We met eyes across a crowded room
And made love through the afternoon
In our minds, we cant deny that
These chemical explosions sing a song that our emotions
Could only hide, deep inside
Because when I stop and look at you eternity seeps right on through into
My eyesBut its hard to take it slow when youre falling so fastYou dont even know my name
But I swear you feel the same way
And no we cant deny whats going on inside
We cant hope to fight against this chemical reactionIm having trouble saying what I feel
But let me say I hope that this is real
Tonight, in spite
Of these chemical reactions I dont want to be distractions from knowing youBut if its wrong to feel so strong well I dont want to feel rightYou dont even know my name
But I swear you feel the same way
And no we cant deny whats going on inside
We cant hope to fight against this chemical reactionSo youve got to let me know how you want this to goYou dont even know my name
But I swear you feel the same way
And no we cant deny whats going on inside

We cant hope to fight against this chemical reactionIts just a chemical reaction

David James Stewart is an up and coming independent artist from Minneapolis, MN. David just released his debut solo album, "Things That Make Us" on February 10th, 2009. On top of being a singer/songwriter, David is also a multi-instrumentalist and producer, in fact, David played all the instruments and produced his album himself.

He describes his music as "story-telling indie rock and roll with a touch of electronica and dash of folk." Others have described his music as "the bastard child of The Killers and Dido" or "Shawn McDonald meets Switchfoot". Whatever comparisons you find most helpful, one cannot argue that Things That Make Us is just the beginning of good things to come from David James Stewart.
