Cobwebs Lyrics

What do you say, you're having doubts?
Your candle's burned and long been out
What do you say?
What do you mean, you can't go on?
You've had your love and now it's gone
What do you say?You say, I'm so tired of the red tape
That holds me to a heart's ache
And I'm so tired of the same fight
That keeps me at the crash siteOh, could it be you've been left behind?I will try to find you
I'll try my best to rush
I've cleared out all the cobwebs
There's nothing here but dustWhat do you say, you've had enough?
A thief has come to take your love away
What do you mean you can't hold on?
It's been this way for far too longYou say I'm too tired to surrender and too weak
I'm too old to remember how it could be
Oh, could it be you?
Been left behindI would try to find you

I'd try my best to rush
I've cleared all the cobwebs
There's nothing here but dustStill I try
Still I try to reach youShould the dark fall upon you
Don't let it get you down
No, I'll be looking for you
Don't let it get you downI would try to find you
I'd try my best to rush
I've cleared all the cobwebs
There's nothing here but dustStill I try
Still I try to reach you

Thriving Ivory derives its creative energy from great rock predecessors such as Queen, Guns’n’Roses, U2 and Elton John. At the same time, they maintain a modern rock edge lending them accessibility to fans of acts like Coldplay, Gavin DeGraw and Maroon 5. Pianist and songwriter Scott Jason is the founding member and co-producer of Thriving Ivory. He met Clayton Stroope -the band’s charismatic lead singer- while the two were students at U.C. Santa Barbara.
