Collide Lyrics

Like a spotlight that breaks into the darkness
Like an arrow that's racing to it's target
I got you in my sight, I am fixed on you
And I can feel you calling, lookin' for me too
Nothing's gonna' stop me 'cause I'm on a mission
I'm gettin' ready for a demolition
Collide, crash into me
(Collide)
Collide, I want to be
(Collide)
Broken by you and made brand new
Collide
(Collide)
In the aftermath of your hurricane
It won't be what I lost but what I stand to gain
So bring your storm to me 'cause I know when it's through
The clouds will roll away as sky will turn to blue
Nothing's gonna' stop me I know what I'm doin'

Make somethin' beautiful from out of the ruins
Collide, crash into me
(Collide)
Collide, I want to be
(Collide)
Broken by you and made brand new
Rearrange me
Only you can save me
Collide, crash into me
(Collide)
Collide, I want to be
(Collide)
Broken by you and made brand new
Collide, crash into me
(Collide)
Collide, I want to be
(Collide)
Broken by you and made brand new
Collide, collide, collide, collide
(Collide, collide, collide)

1. Whitecross was formed in Chicago in 1986. Vocalist Scott Wenzel and guitarist Rex Carroll were the backbone of the band from their debut album in 1987 to 1992's "High Gear". With the release of 1994's "Unveiled" the only original band member was Scott. The last Whitecross album was 1996's "Flytrap". In 1998 they released a greatest hits package titled "One More Encore". In 2005 Rex and Scott got together to re-record their debut album, calling it "Ninteen Eighty-Seven". The track lineup of the album is slightly different than on "Whitecross".
