Dirty Mind Lyrics

I got a fever
Burning in my soul
The minute you walked in the room
I lost control
I caught your eye
But you looked away
Let's make this easy baby
What do you sayYou know that I want you
But if I can't have you
Chorus
Then i'll close my eyes and
Just pretend
That your here with me and we're
more than friends
I can do what I want
When I want anytime
It's so easy when you
Got a dirty mind

I got a dirty mindI gotta feeling
Your gonna make it hard
If that's how you want it baby
You can deal the card
Double the beat
Hit or stay
It dosen't matter either way I got the upper hand
Oh yeah
Hey babe your such a trip
I gotta get a gripChorus
So I'll close my eyes and
Just pretend
That your here with me and we're
more than friends
I can do what I want
When I want anytime
It's so easy when you
Got a dirty mind
I got a dirty mindGuitar SoloThis just isn't fun anymore
I'm having second thoughts baby
Now i'm gettin bored
Don't wanna be another notch
In your lipstick case
I'd rather blow my load
With you in my head
Then wake up tomorrow with you
In my bedSo I close my eyes and
Just pretend
That your here with me and we're
More than friends
I can do what I want
When I want anytime
It's so easy when you
Got a dirty mind
Yeah I close my eyes and
Just pretend
That your here with me and we're
More than friends
I can do what I wnat
When I want any time
It's so easy when you
Got a dirty mind

The quintet -- Ted Poley (vocals), Andy Timmons (guitar), Bruno Ravel (bass), Steve West (drums), and Kasey Smith (keyboards) Landed a deal with Epic in 1989. The same year saw the release of the group's self-titled debut, spawning the single/video "Naughty Naughty," which enjoyed a few airings on MTV's Headbanger's Ball program. The album failed to break the group through to the big time, but the group stuck to their guns and issued further albums: 1992's Screw It, 1995's Dawn, 1998's Four the Hard Way, and 2000's Return of the Great Gildersleeves.
