Down Down Lyrics

Cruising down the highway
Radio is on
Heading back to my place tonight
Saw you trying to hitchhike
Said hop in if you like
Thats when you took me for a rideThats when you got a hold of me
And you had full control of me
Said you wanna come home with me
Maybe we could get highIm going down down baby, down down little
I put your headband back up
Im going down down honey, down down love
I think you must be losing your touch
cause you can get me down downDriving home to
Cars way up ahead
Couldnt keep your hands to yourselfDriving on the verges,
Trying to fight the urges
Taking off my seatbeltThats when you started touching me
And it all got too much for me

I was finding it hard to breathe
As you took me for a rideIm going down down baby, down down little
I put your headband back up
Im going down down honey, down down love
I think you must be losing your touch
Im going down down baby, down down little
I zip my trousers back up
Im going down down honey, down down love
I think you must be losing your touch
cause you can get me down downYeah yeahIm going down down baby, down down little
I put your headband back up
Im going down down honey, down down love
I think you must be losing your touch
Im going down down baby, down down little
I zip my trousers back up now
Down down, down down
I think you must be losing your touch
cause you can get me down down

Enjoy the lyrics !!!

The Rustix were a super popular R&B band during the late 1960's in the western NY area particularly in Rochester.
My experience with the band began in early 1967.I had been drumming for a band named The Invictas. I was becoming bored with the style of music played by The Invictas and coincidentally a new, up and coming group, The Rustix, had lost their drummer,Bobby Blandino, to the armed forces. The two groups had been playing at the same club known as the Varsity Inn. The Invictas played the night gigs while The Rustix played the Sunday afternoon gigs.
