Fake Lyrics

You always appease me
With beautiful lies
You must be godlike
'Cuz nothing's never not rightYou're my protector
A pillar of strength
You'd never deceive me
Unless you could hide the stainYou're practiced and polished
It's you, you amaze
Do what feels good, splurge
Your smile can take it all the awayHow very thoughtful
An introduction to pain
You should be proud dear
No one's ever hurt me this wayYou're just a big drama queen
You don't know who you want to be
You're so lame
Think you'd do anything
Just to get what you needFake, you're a genuine loser
You're a fake, you're counterfeit cool

You're a fake, a professional user
You're a fake
My world would be better without a fakeI try to keep faith
In the emperor's clothes
To me you're just naked
I guess I like the stage showIf I give up pleasure
Will I lose the pain
I think it'd be worth it
Next time, I'll find the real thingYou're a big drama queen
You don't know who you want to be
You're so lame
I think you'd do anything
Just to get what you needFake, you're a genuine loser
You're a fake, oh God you're counterfeit cool
You're a fake, you're a professional user
You're a fake
My world would be better without a fakeFake, you're a genuine loser
You're a fake, yeah, you're counterfeit cool
You're a fake, a joke and a loser
You're a fake
My world would be better without aFake, you're a genuine loser
You're a fake, yeah, you're counterfeit cool
You're a fake, he's a joke and a loser
You're a fake
My world would be so much better without a fake

Born and raised in San Diego, CA, Leah Andreone began her musical career early (at the age of 8), singing with her older sisters' band. By the age of 13, she had a job writing commercials and jingles, which lead to writing her own originals. After dropping out of college, Leah began pursuing a record deal as a solo artist while working at a restaurant, all the while honing her act in the clubs of Sand Diego and Los Angeles. She was able to pass along a demo to some RCA record execs who dined at her restaurant, signing Andreone exactly 24 hours later, after witnessing a live performance.
