You Make Me Remember Lyrics

Whispering you stare
Wanting, you don't care
Kiss me, make me cry
How did I wind up here?Wishing you were dead
Why are you in my bed?
Ignore what's jeopardized
It's only me deniedOh, I'm dizzy, hazy
Oh, can someone save me?
Oh, hypnotize me
Anesthetize the painYou speak my name, I hear nothing
You share your dreams, I see nothing
Unconscious suicide, aren't you gone yet?
You make me remember things I want to forgetWalk in the park, fresh air
I shoot my drink, you're still here
Inside a child asks, "Why
Who used to bring me here?"Oh, I'm dizzy, hazy
Oh, can someone save me?
Oh, hypnotize me

Anesthetize the painYou speak my name, I hear nothing
You share your dreams, I see nothing
Unconscious suicide, aren't you gone yet?
You make me rememberYou touch my face, I feel nothing
You taste my lips, I give nothing
This starving soul must be fed
You make me remember things I want to forgetYes, I do need to feel love
And I used yours like a glove
But the memories come flooding back
All I want to do is paint it blackThis starving soul must be fed
You make me remember
You speak my name, I hear nothing
You share your dreams, I see nothing
Unconscious suicide, aren't you gone yet?You make me remember things I want
You make me remember things I need
You make me remember things I want to forget

Born and raised in San Diego, CA, Leah Andreone began her musical career early (at the age of 8), singing with her older sisters' band. By the age of 13, she had a job writing commercials and jingles, which lead to writing her own originals. After dropping out of college, Leah began pursuing a record deal as a solo artist while working at a restaurant, all the while honing her act in the clubs of Sand Diego and Los Angeles. She was able to pass along a demo to some RCA record execs who dined at her restaurant, signing Andreone exactly 24 hours later, after witnessing a live performance.
