Glad You're Here Lyrics

I'm so happy you're here
It's been a long time since I've had you near, my dear
Come on inside, get away from the cold wind that's blowin'
Gonna let you know that
I'm so glad you're here
I'm worried about ya
I'm so glad you're here
After all we've been through
I'm so glad you're here
It's good to see ya, baby
I'm so glad you're here
Leave your troubles all out
Yeah, they come to mind every time I see you around town
Be frontin' like ya got it all together but I'm no better
Baby, it's you and I forever
I'm so glad you're here
I'm worried about ya
I'm so glad you're here

And after all we've been through
I'm so glad you're here
Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's good to see you
I'm so glad you're here
Woah love, ain't nothin' changed
We're still hopeless, together, woah
I wish you go away for I'm doomed if you stay
It's okay, I need you anyway, it's okay, yeah, yeah
That's what our love is saying
Well it's okay, aah na na
I need you, anyway
And I'm so happy you're here
I'm so glad you're here
I'm so glad you're here
I'm so glad you're here

Macy Gray (born Natalie McIntyre September 6, 1967) from Canton, Ohio is a Grammy Award winning neo soul/R&B singer, songwriter, record producer and actress. To date, Macy has released five studio albums, one compilation album and a live album. She has acted in a number of movies including Training Day, Idlewild, and Lackawanna Blues, Gray is best known for her international hit single "I Try", taken from her multi-platinum debut album On How Life Is. Other hits include "Sweet Baby," "Do Something," "When I See You," and "Beauty in the World."

Macy Gray was originally hesitant to record a studio album due to what is, arguably, her most recognizable feature -- her voice. She started her music career as a songwriter. Her first album was actually a mistake; she was at the studio waiting for the person who was supposed to be singing her song, and the producer wanted to hear what one of the songs was supposed to sound like. Once she started singing, the producer liked the rough sound of her voice so much he offered her a record deal.
