Real Love Lyrics

I know why you hesitate
Burned by all the fake
Lovers that you had before
They push you down and gave you hate
But don't believe the things they say
'Cause, baby, you're a genius, you're a star
'Cause I would walk a million miles for you
Just to visit you, baby
And I'll show you a trillion stars
The moon is ours
Darling, I am everlasting
I'm a sure thing
I'm a master
Giving you real, real, real love
And it shows for the asking
About everything after
Giving you real, real, real love
Baby, I will kiss you

Even when you have the flu
I'll be good to you when you're bad
Love you, love you, baby
Laying down and save you
I'm your superhero, I'm a fan
And I would walk a million miles for you
Just to visit you, baby
And I'll show you a trillion stars
The moon is ours
Darling, I am everlasting
I'm a sure thing
I'm a master
Giving you real, real, real love
And it shows for the asking
About everything after
Giving you real, real, real love
Lonely baby, I have to be where you are
We are about to shoot to the sun
Jumping my first car
Baby, I'll take you forever
I'm making you mine, baby, for life
Darling, I am everlasting
I'm a sure thing
I'm a master
Giving you real, real, real love
And it shows for the asking
About everything after
Giving you real, real, real love
Giving you
Giving you
Giving you
Giving you
Giving you
Giving you
Giving you
Giving you
Giving you
Giving you

Macy Gray (born Natalie McIntyre September 6, 1967) from Canton, Ohio is a Grammy Award winning neo soul/R&B singer, songwriter, record producer and actress. To date, Macy has released five studio albums, one compilation album and a live album. She has acted in a number of movies including Training Day, Idlewild, and Lackawanna Blues, Gray is best known for her international hit single "I Try", taken from her multi-platinum debut album On How Life Is. Other hits include "Sweet Baby," "Do Something," "When I See You," and "Beauty in the World."

Macy Gray was originally hesitant to record a studio album due to what is, arguably, her most recognizable feature -- her voice. She started her music career as a songwriter. Her first album was actually a mistake; she was at the studio waiting for the person who was supposed to be singing her song, and the producer wanted to hear what one of the songs was supposed to sound like. Once she started singing, the producer liked the rough sound of her voice so much he offered her a record deal.
