Grotesque Lyrics

Monstrous
My thoughts
Revolting visions, carnage
BloodbathMy dream
Gore soaked
My hands
Hallucination, or real
I wield
The bladeGrotesque
Mind
GrotesqueVisions
Murder
See myself slashing, the throats
VictimsMy friends
Horror
My crimes
Fiendish memory, did I
Kill them

I must knowDid I kill them?Life long friend
Cut off his headHow can this be I butchered them
Why would I slaughter them?
Who gave me this knife to kill them
With, how could I chop them up?Survey my massacre
Fragments of my comrades carpet
The ground below, I want to escape
Stab myself suicide wake me up and set me freeGrotesque
Mind
GrotesqueDid I kill them?
Did I kill them?

Wayne Hussey (born Jerry Wayne Lovelock on 26 May 1958 in Bristol, England) is a British punk rock and post-punk musician, best known as a member of Dead or Alive, The Mission, and The Sisters of Mercy while also having a notable solo career. Growing up in Bristol, his early influences included Marc Bolan and Bolan's transgressive glam rock group, T. Rex. Hussey was thus inspired to become a guitarist and songwriter. Brought up in the strict Mormon religion, he rebelled against his parents and moved to Liverpool in the late 70s to join the scene around Eric's, a noted nightclub of the time.
