Harry Lyrics

You must be smellin' cherries and strawberries
And peaches and plums
Roses and dandelionsSpecial lovin' on the night I spent with you
It was the best that I've had lately
But it didn't mean anything, yea
And I will be glad when you stop callin' meHarry
Don't wanna be your girlfriend
But boy when you want the lovin'
Come and see me HarrySwore my ever lastin' true an' love to you
Said that I need ya, I want ya, didn't I baby
But I was just kiddin' 'round, yea
And I will be glad when you stop callin' my houseHarry
I don't wanna be your girlfriend oh no
But boy when you want the lovin'
Come and see me HarryAnd it's a shame Harry
'Cause you're such a beautiful thing, Harry
You tell them that you love me and I bet ya do
But love's not my thing right now Harry

All I wanna do is swing
And when you're ready, I'm here for youPlease Harry
Stop callin' meHarry, yea, yea, yea, yea, yea, yea
I don't wanna be your girlfriend, not now
But boy when you wanted the lovin'
When you want the love, ahh ahh
Feel free to come and see me, Harry, yea
Hey Harry{Okay next coming up, from right there}

Macy Gray (born Natalie McIntyre September 6, 1967) from Canton, Ohio is a Grammy Award winning neo soul/R&B singer, songwriter, record producer and actress. To date, Macy has released five studio albums, one compilation album and a live album. She has acted in a number of movies including Training Day, Idlewild, and Lackawanna Blues, Gray is best known for her international hit single "I Try", taken from her multi-platinum debut album On How Life Is. Other hits include "Sweet Baby," "Do Something," "When I See You," and "Beauty in the World."

Macy Gray was originally hesitant to record a studio album due to what is, arguably, her most recognizable feature -- her voice. She started her music career as a songwriter. Her first album was actually a mistake; she was at the studio waiting for the person who was supposed to be singing her song, and the producer wanted to hear what one of the songs was supposed to sound like. Once she started singing, the producer liked the rough sound of her voice so much he offered her a record deal.
