Hello It's Me Lyrics

It's me, I've thought about us for a long, long time
Maybe I think too much but some thing's wrong
There's something here that doesn't last too long
Maybe I shouldn't think of you as mineSeeing you or seeing anything as much as I do you
I take for granted that you're always there
I take for granted that you just don't care
Sometimes, I can't help seeing all the way throughIt's important to me that you know you are free
'Cause I never want to make you change for meThink of me, you know that I'd be with you if I could
I'll come around to see you once in a while
Or if I ever need a reason to smile
And spend the night if you think I shouldIt's important to me that you know you are free
'Cause I never want to make you change for meThink of me, you know that I'd be with you if I could
I'll come around to see you once in a while, yes I will
Or if I ever need a reason to smile
And spend the night if you think I shouldThink of me
Think of me
Think of me

Songs For Drella is a concept album by The Velvet Underground alumni Lou Reed and John Cale. It was released in 1990 by Sire Records. The album is the pair's first collaboration since 1972, and is dedicated to the memory of Andy Warhol, their mentor, who had died unexpectedly in 1987. Drella was a nickname for Warhol, a portmanteau of Dracula and Cinderella, used by Warhol's crowd. Songs for Drella offers a kind of vie romancée of Warhol, focusing on his interpersonal relations.
