Open House Lyrics

So you think you had a walk in the park
You don't think you'd be no working too hard
Looks like you've been opening up
You don't want to but you can't stop can't stop
What's the name you tried to find?
Did you see the way she appeared?
She's the type that knows everyone here
Know the face but I don't know her name
Know her friend and you know she's just the same
What's the name you tried to find?
Open house and I'm opening up
I don't want to but I can't stop can't stop
Open house and I'll never come down
Tear it up when the morning comes around
What's the name you tried to find?

Songs For Drella is a concept album by The Velvet Underground alumni Lou Reed and John Cale. It was released in 1990 by Sire Records. The album is the pair's first collaboration since 1972, and is dedicated to the memory of Andy Warhol, their mentor, who had died unexpectedly in 1987. Drella was a nickname for Warhol, a portmanteau of Dracula and Cinderella, used by Warhol's crowd. Songs for Drella offers a kind of vie romancée of Warhol, focusing on his interpersonal relations.
