I Can't Wait To Meetchu Lyrics

I tried to live without you
What a misery it turned out to be
Sorry for the time I doubted you
Can't seem to get nowhere 'less you're next to meAnd everyday I wonder what it would be like
Just to see the one who's always be my side
Lookin' out for you and II do my best to do right got to get to the way up high
Oh my lord, I can't wait to meetchu
Love the life I'm livin' though I'm looking forward to the day I die
Oh my lord, I can't wait to meetchuSo glad to have a love that's true
And I want to thank you now for seeing me through
I'll never be the fool to go astray
Gonna stick with you alwaysAnd every day I wonder what it would be like
Just to see one who's always be my side
Lookin' out for you and II do my best to do right got to get to the way up high
Oh my lord, I can't wait to meetchu
Love the life I'm livin' though I'm looking forward to the day I die
Oh my lord, I can't wait to meetchuI'll never be enough to give what you give me
But I could sing my heart out for you and tell everybody

All that he asks of us is only to believe
disappear your low low lows and your woe woe woes
Just like that, it's nature fact
I can't wait 'til he gets backI do my best to do right got to get to the way up high
Oh my lord, I can't wait to meetchu
Love the life I'm livin' though I'm looking forward to the day I die
Oh my lord, I can't wait to meetchu

Macy Gray (born Natalie McIntyre September 6, 1967) from Canton, Ohio is a Grammy Award winning neo soul/R&B singer, songwriter, record producer and actress. To date, Macy has released five studio albums, one compilation album and a live album. She has acted in a number of movies including Training Day, Idlewild, and Lackawanna Blues, Gray is best known for her international hit single "I Try", taken from her multi-platinum debut album On How Life Is. Other hits include "Sweet Baby," "Do Something," "When I See You," and "Beauty in the World."

Macy Gray was originally hesitant to record a studio album due to what is, arguably, her most recognizable feature -- her voice. She started her music career as a songwriter. Her first album was actually a mistake; she was at the studio waiting for the person who was supposed to be singing her song, and the producer wanted to hear what one of the songs was supposed to sound like. Once she started singing, the producer liked the rough sound of her voice so much he offered her a record deal.
