I Don't Know Why Lyrics

I don't know why
I don't want anybody else but you
No one can ever add up two
What you wantA simple word
That I can never say to you
Things that I can never do
When I was younger(Chorus)
But I don't know
In which way the wind blows
But I know I'll be alright
And I don't know
If you think I'm crazy
But if you say maybe I
I'd say love don't wait in line
No, love don't wait in lineIf I say
That I don't care what you do with him
If every time I lose you win
Then I'll be lying

But I'd better learn
Oh, I'd better learn to sink or swim
Cause the pieces of my heart are getting dim
But I'll find the light(Chorus)
And I don't know
In which way the wind blows
But I know I'll be alright
And I don't know
If you think I'm crazy
But if you say maybe I
I'd say love don't wait in line
No, love don't wait in lineTimes they change
And our lives they rearrange
We were just a burning flame
With bad timing
Oh but love don't wait in line
No, love don't wait in line
In line oooh

Gavin James, 22-year-old singer songwriter, has already won Ireland's answer to the Mercury (the Choice Music Prize for 'Song of the Year') and seen his debut EP ('Say Hello') remain on the Irish chart for over 6 months. This rise and development in his home market has gained Gavin sell-out headline dates and wider support tours with the likes of Lianne La Havas, Beth Orton, Kodaline and Marina & The Diamonds.

A snapshot of this ascent, 'Live at Whelans' is a selection of new and old songs performed in the stripped-back environment of a rapturously-received hometown show. The first track to be lifted from it, 'Nervous', is a pin-drop account of a one-sided relationship: from that initial fear of your first meeting to the gradual realisation, by the end of the song, that perhaps they were never who you thought they were (and it's best to forget about them).
