I Gotta Be Somewhere Lyrics

Now this is my hometown it's the only place I know
Yeah I'm still a hanging round just where could I go
It's a really thing when you said goodbye that I just disappear
You know I gotta be somewhere I might as well be here
Yeah you know I gotta be somewhere I might as well be hereI guess I'll hang around although we said goodbye
Did you think that I'd leave town did you really think I tried
It's a sad old town it's a lonesome town and I hope I make it clear
You know I gotta be somewhere I might as well be here
Yeah since I gotta be somewhere I might as well be hereIt's mighty rough on me to stay here all alone
But I can't find a reason why should just move on
Any other place that I might be I'll never have you near
And since I gotta be somewhere I might as well be here
And since I gotta be somewhere I might as well be here
