I Love You To Death (drive Safe) Lyrics

Let's sing a song to end the world. No, I'm not kidding.
I said my prayers, or so I said, and nothing's hidden.
Let's sing a song for only us, cause no one else matters as much.
Let's sing it strong, and sing it proud.
I don't know any better sound than that.
Drown with me tonight. Forget the world the around you.
I'll sing to you softly 'til you drift to sleep.
This world could end tomorrow. Baby, we won't miss it.
The world will fall apart and listen, so will we.
I sing a song, a bitter song, of my frustration.
I've heard your song for way too long, and nothing's changing.
I sing this song for all of us, cause we can feel what matters most.
I sing it strong, but never proud.
I don't need any other sound than that.
Drown with me tonight. Forget the world the around you.
I'll sing to you softly 'til you drift to sleep.
This world could end tomorrow. Baby, we don't need it.

The world will fall apart and listen, so will we.
Drive safely. Drive safely. Drive safely home.
Drown with me tonight. Forget the world the around you.
I'll sing to you softly 'til you drift to sleep.
This world could end tomorrow. Baby, we won't miss it.
The world could fall apart and listen, so will we.
Drown with me tonight. Forget the world around you.
I'll sing to you softly 'til you drift to sleep.

The Juliana Theory was an indie, alternative rock, and post-hardcore quintet from Pennsylvania formed in 1997 by Brett Detar, formerly of Zao. and Chad Alan. The band released its first two albums, "Understand This Is A Dream" (1999) and "Emotion Is Dead" (2000), as well as the "Music from Another Room EP" (2001) on Tooth and Nail Records. In 2002, the band signed to Epic Records and released the acclaimed cd "Love" (2003). When not in the studio, the band was always on the road, criss-crossing the US/Canada over a dozen times and touring Europe and Australia. In late 2005, they released their final album "Deadbeat Sweetheartbeat" before disbanding in February of 2006. They then released "A Small Noise" (2006). The band believed that their swan song - Deadbeat Sweetheartbeat was their best written and best performed record.
