Understand The Dream Is Over Lyrics

Here is my new disposition, you're about to understand
Our theory is only obvious to the skeptical and at the bitter end
You're staring at a white page and the print is plain to see
Now turn the page and read what's written, it's your history
Do you understand? The dream is over, you haven't slept in years
Don't be looking for answers, you're better following trails
The dream is over, you haven't slept in years
Don't be looking for answers, you're better following trails
You're staring at a black screen, your body starts to tense
When two plus two is five or less, it's time to question common sense Silence is a secret, a weapon in disguise
Listen to the silence, open up your eyes
Do you understand? The dream is over, you haven't slept in years
Don't be looking for answers, you're better following trails
The dream is over, you haven't slept in years
Don't be looking for answers, you're better following trails
Do you decide what you hear and believe?
Tell me who makes your mind up for you?
Do you believe what you see to be true?

Can you tell me who owns the truth?
Who bought the truth?
Who bought the truth?
(What is your disposition?)
(What is your disposition?)
Who bought the truth?
(What is your disposition?)
(What is your disposition?)
Here is my new disposition
You're about to understand
Our theory is only obvious
To the skeptical and at the bitter end, end yeah

The Juliana Theory was an indie, alternative rock, and post-hardcore quintet from Pennsylvania formed in 1997 by Brett Detar, formerly of Zao. and Chad Alan. The band released its first two albums, "Understand This Is A Dream" (1999) and "Emotion Is Dead" (2000), as well as the "Music from Another Room EP" (2001) on Tooth and Nail Records. In 2002, the band signed to Epic Records and released the acclaimed cd "Love" (2003). When not in the studio, the band was always on the road, criss-crossing the US/Canada over a dozen times and touring Europe and Australia. In late 2005, they released their final album "Deadbeat Sweetheartbeat" before disbanding in February of 2006. They then released "A Small Noise" (2006). The band believed that their swan song - Deadbeat Sweetheartbeat was their best written and best performed record.
